Special Zone:
This isn't really cheating, but go to the second level of World 3. Now get the red switch palace, if you haven't already, and go to the secret exit of the first level of World 3. You will get to go up the mountain and you will get to a level half way up. Get the cape and go to the secret exit of that. You will get to go to Star Road. Go up and get all of the secret exits except there may be one you can't find on Star Road 5 the secret exit on that(get blue Yoshi) and eat a turtle. Yoshi will get wings. Go left then fly up then go right there will be a key and a keyhole. Put the key in the keyhole. There will now be a "Star Road" in the middle. Go to that you will now be in "SPECIAL ZONE".

Secret Stuff:
Go to the 1st ghost house with a cape. Go forward, back, and fly up. You will see an opening. Go up there. There you will find 4 lives. There is a door. Go in it and you will get to TOP SECRET. In there are: Yoshi, 2 flower powers, and 2 capes.

Hold A at the game over screen. While keeping that button held, press Start when the title screen appears. Alternatively, hold A and press Start(2) at the title screen.

World -1:
Stand on top of the exit pipe on world 1-2 and scroll the screen as far right as possible. Run to the right, then back to the left as far as the end of the pipe, then back again several times. The screen to reveal a blank space on the far right side of the bricks. Jump up and break the only second and third bricks from the right. Place Mario on the pipe with one foot off the edge and face him to the left. Press A to jump, and press Right while he is in the air. Do not break the remaining brick. The back of Mario's head should hit the brick and pull him in. Walk through the bricks to the right and immediately enter the first pipe on the left.
