To access these hidden characters you must be holding start the whole time. There will be 2 sets of letters, the first will be theinitals, and the second will be the buttons you have to press on the first, second, and third initals.

These codes can only work for player 1, if you put tag mode on they will still work and they last throughout the game.
You can do more then one code but do it quickly because if the Tonights Match up screen fades away before you press start tocontinue no codes will work.
When the tonights Match up screen pops up thats when you start to type in the codes you want.
U= up on the control pad
D= down on the control pad
R= right on the control pad
L= left on the control pad

B= button B
